Validate Customer Address on Checkout
Validating customer address formats is a crucial step in ensuring smooth and error-free deliveries. The Validate Customer Address Format rule in Blockify helps you enforce specific address formats during checkout, reducing errors and improving overall customer satisfaction.
Benefits
Reduce shipping errors: Correctly formatted addresses minimize the risk of incorrect deliveries and lost packages, ensuring your products reach the right destination.
Lower Chargeback Rates: Accurate address validation helps prevent chargebacks caused by undelivered or misdelivered orders, saving you time and money.
Improve Customer Satisfaction: A seamless checkout process with accurate address information ensures customers receive their orders promptly, leading to higher satisfaction and repeat business.
Enhance Store Reputation: Reliable deliveries increase customer trust and loyalty, boosting your storeβs reputation and encouraging positive reviews.
How to set up?
Navigate to the Blockify Dashboard and create a new "Checkout Validation Rule".
In the Rule configuration, select "Specific Address" as the condition. You can choose the trigger as either "is" or "contains" the address.
Choosing "is" requires an exact match with the customer's address (e.g., 123 Halflington Street, OZ, USA)
Opting for "contains" means the customer's address includes the specified term (e.g., matches with both 123 Halflington Street and 123 Southeast Street).
Set up the "Error Message" that will be displayed if the address does not meet the specified criteria. Define the content of the error message to clearly inform the customer of the issue.
Finally, configure the position of the message on the checkout page to ensure it is visible and user-friendly.
