Overview

Checkout validation rules are essential for ensuring a secure and efficient online shopping experience. These rules help you validate critical checkout fields, manage transaction timings, and customize payment and shipping methods based on specific conditions.

Currently, the app supports validation using the following criteria:

  • Cart Conditions

  • Customer Information

  • Date and Time

  • Customer Address

Instruction to set up rule

Step 1: Create a new rule

  • From your Shopify admin dashboard, navigate to Blockify checkout.

  • On the Rule list, click on Create rule button then select Checkout validation rule

Step 2: Select the rule condition

Choose an option as a validation condition of the rule.

With Checkout validation rule, we available these conditions:

  • Cart:

    • Cart value

  • Customer:

    • Email address, Phone number, Customer name, Customer tag, Customer currency, Total spent.

  • Address:

    • Specific address, Zip code, Country, Market

  • Date of the time

    • Day of the week, Time of the day, Day of the week and time of the day.

Step 3: Customize your error message

Customize your own error message and select the position in which the message is displayed.
