Combining Conditions in Checkout Validation, Payment Customization, and Shipping Customization Rules

Overview

The new feature allows you to combine up to 30+ conditions (organized into 4 condition sets) across Checkout Validation, Payment Customization, and Shipping Customization rules. This enhancement provides greater flexibility and control over your store’s rules, helping you tailor them to your specific business needs.

Key Features:

• Combine up to 4 condition sets for advanced rule customization.

• Use AND logic to apply stricter conditions (all must be met).

• Use OR logic to enable more flexible scenarios (any condition can be met).

How to Use This Feature

Step 1: Navigate to the Rule Page

1. Open the Blockify app on your Shopify admin.

2. Choose the type of rule you want to configure:

   • Checkout Validation

   • Payment Customization

   • Shipping Customization

Step 2: Organize Conditions into Sets

Group your conditions into up to 4 condition sets:

• Each set allows you to organize specific criteria.

• Example:

  • Set 1: Shipping country = US AND Payment method = Credit Card.

Step 3: Choose the Logic Type

1. For each condition set, select the logic type:

   • AND: All conditions in the set must be true.

   • OR: Any condition in the set can be true.

2. Combine logic types across sets to build more nuanced rules:

   • Example:

     • Set 1 (AND): Country = US AND Cart total > $50.

     • Set 2 (OR): Payment method = PayPal OR Product tag = "Holiday".

Step 4: Save and Test

Once all condition sets and error messages (for Checkout Validation rule) are configured, click Save Rule.
