The Shipping Discount feature helps you create promotional campaigns that increase the average order value and boost conversion rates. With this feature, you can offer discounts on shipping using discount codes or automatic discounts, adding flexibility to your marketing efforts.
Using Blockify Checkout Rules, you can apply shipping discounts under specific conditions. You can select whether the discount will apply to all shipping methods or specific ones, and even schedule the promotion to run within a certain timeframe. This guide will walk you through setting up a shipping discount step-by-step.
Open Blockify Checkout Rules from your Shopify admin dashboard.
On the Rule List, click Create a Rule and select Shipping Discount from the list of rules.
Choose the discount method:
Discount code (requires customers to enter a code)
Automatic discount (applied automatically at checkout)
Select a specific condition that must be met for the discount to be valid (e.g., Cart Value > $150).
Select all shipping methods or choose specific shipping methods to apply the discount for more flexible campaigns.
Enter a discount value based on the available types (e.g., percentage off or fixed amount).
Optionally, enable combination between discounts if you want this discount to stack with other promotions.
Set a schedule for the discount by choosing a start and end date (optional).
Save the rule to activate the shipping discount.
